Broken Bone Bathtub

Broken Bone Bathtub has kept Siobhán O'Loughlin, an immersive artist performing in other peoples' bathrooms, on the road for six years. As her final tour of this intimate, interactive solo show draws to a close, she contemplates how she will sustain her life as an independent artist in the years ahead. “It feels like you’re watching a story from Siobhán,” an audience member says, “But it’s almost like you’re entering a story of yourself, too.” Broken Bone Bathtub documents the healing nature of immersive art, juxtaposed with the ever-rising challenges that independent artists face in a compromising capitalist landscape. The Power of Protest

More than any time in the last fifty years, from Washington to Hong Kong to Beirut, protests have exploded across the world. Like no other to date, our film examines the inner workings of dissent in America – the how and why of movements that now are sending millions into the streets and the halls of government, their influence and impact increasing by the moment. The Power of Protest is a verite-style feature documentary set in the unfolding present, depicting the behind-the-scenes of organizing and tactics, as well as the protests themselves. We also interweave key analytical and historical voices to provide both context to the events and the strategy behind them. In this way, from the ground up, we will immerse our viewers in the action of participatory democracy. (Release: 2019; Role: Line Producer)

Beyond Borders: Undocumented Mexican-Americans

BEYOND BORDERS: Undocumented Mexican-Americans examines US policy decisions that triggered the rise of undocumented immigration in a deeply moving documentary program that explores the under-reported lives of Mexicans living and raising families in the United States. The film carefully explains the history of the relationship between the two countries - Mexico and America - some of which may be unfamiliar to viewers. In telling the stories of several undocumented Mexican-Americans, BEYOND BORDERS reveals the reasons why millions of Mexican workers have settled in the US over the past four decades instead of returning home. It also illuminates the remarkable networks that connect the film's characters with the families they left behind, and the very real human impact of the anti-immigration backlash now sweeping the country.
